Flood Warning Siren System for Dungog Shire Council

Aquamonix has just been awarded a project to deliver a Flood Early Flood Warning (FEWS) for the township of Dungog.  Located north of Newcastle in NSW, Dungog sits on the banks of the Williams River. In 2015, a 1 in 1000-year rain event caused catastrophic flooding.  The FEWS project involves the design and installation of a River Monitoring station and a Flood Warning Siren to provide community warnings of rising flood waters and assist emergency response actions.  The project is set for completion by mid-December 2019.
